The PMHA’s Annual Statistical Report is prepared by the PMHA’s Centralised Data Management Service (CDMS) each year, as part of our ongoing commitment toward improving the quality, reliability and use of information on private sector mental health services. The reports are based on the data submitted to the CDMS by participating private hospitals with psychiatric beds. The list of currently participating hospitals can be found here.
The report for the immediately preceding financial year is prepared after all data in respect of the year has been received and processed. The link to the most recent Report, prepared in February 2016, for the 2014‐2015 financial year, can be found below.
PMHA-CDMS Annual Statistical Report for 2013-2014 (330KB)
This report, prepared in May and August 2015, describes the development and implementation of the PMHA's Patient Experiences of Care (PEx) Survey. Implementation of the new PEx Survey began in the last quarter of 2013. The report includes selected statistics for the 2014 calendar year derived from data submitted by participating hospitals.

This report contains statistics regarding the estimated numbers and demographic attributes of all people in receipt of care from private hospitals with psychiatric beds. The report also contains summary statistics regarding the outcomes of episodes of overnight inpatient care, provided in just those hospitals that submitted data to the PMHA's CDMS, during the period covered.
